Fisher holds him out of practice Kenny Britt led the Titans in receiving yards as a rookie last season, raising hopes he would be their No. 1 wideout this fall. But he still has a lot to learn, starting with keeping himself in shape. While his teammates practiced this week, Britt was a spectator. Coach Jeff Fisher didn't want to put last year's first-round pick on the field for fear of injury." He has a long ways to go, but the improvement from year one to year two is what we are looking for out of him,'' Fisher said. "We are going to get him into shape and he'll be back out there when we're on the field in May.'' (Tennessean)

rotoworld,
Coach Jeff Fisher indicated that Kenny Britt is still climbing back up the depth chart until he resolves his "consistency and time" issues.

Britt is still behind Lavelle Hawkins on the depth chart, earning his way back into coach Jeff Fisher's good graces after a wayward offseason. ESPN's Paul Kuharsky believes it will be a "huge disappointment" if Britt isn't the Titans' top receiver by the end of preseason action. We agree, but he's got a lot of ground to make up in August.
