Brandon Jacobs Insjured Knee.....may be serious

Jacobs was carted off the field last night with a knee injury. Speculation is that is could be serious. Tests today to confirm. Stay tuned.
 
Read somewhere this morning that team stated it was groin (not serious), but he was holding his knee on the field

Updating a previous report, San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh said Saturday, Aug. 18, that RB Brandon Jacobs (knee) will miss some time, but he does not have a season-ending injury. The anterior cruciate ligament and patellar tendon for Jacobs are fine.

NFL.com reports San Francisco 49ers RB Brandon Jacobs suffered no major damage to his knee, a source said after he undewent an MRI. There is no timetable yet on his return to action, though.

Article in the Sacramento Bee this morning saying that the MRI came back negative. Looks like he should be back by week 2 at the latest.
