-- Boldin Set to Fire Rosenhaus --
Tue May 26, 2009 --from FFMastermind.com
ESPN's Mike Sando reports WR Anquan Boldin has informed agent Drew Rosenhaus, the Arizona Cardinals and the NFL Players Association of his plans to fire Rosenhaus amid stalled attempts to force a trade or a new contract. Rosenhaus, who represents more NFL players than any other agent, had tried pressuring the Cardinals into trading the 28-year-old receiver. "Regarding WR Anquan Boldin, let me say that I have great respect for him. I'm hopeful we can work this out and he can return to the Rosenhaus Sports family in the near future. We are proud to continue to represent his brother, D.J. Boldin," Rosenhaus said

Okay now to me this gets interesting.

IF once Boldin resigns he gets a really good contract....will the blame be placed on Rosenhaus? Will both Boldin and Arizona come out and crucify him? IF so.......will that affect his future?

We have long lamented Rosenhaus and his dark side tactics...I am curious if this won't finally put a nail in his coffin so to speak.

Could we possibly get that lucky?

Cardinals | New agent should mean new deal for Boldin? Mon Jun 1, 08:50 AM
Michael Lombardi, of The National Football Post, reports the hiring of a new agent for Arizona Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin does not necessarily mean Boldin is more likely to be traded. However, a new agent means a new contract is most probable.

No. The man is an entity unto himself - the cafeteria ad alone will keep him in front of prospects.

  • -- Boldin Hires Tom Condon --
    Mon Jun 1, 2009 --from FFMastermind.com
  • The Arizona Republic reports Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin has hired Tom Condon as his agent, replacing Drew Rosenhaus, who was fired last week. Condon's hiring was expected, and Cardinals GM Rod Graves acknowledged Monday that Condon called recently to inform him of the change. Boldin is seeking a restructuring of his present contract, which has two years remaining. Rosenhaus and the Cardinals made no progress in talks, prompting the decision by Boldin to change representation. Boldin has not attended the team's voluntary practices and has been unavailable for comment. Condon has represented several Cardinals over the years, including former RB Thomas Jones and current backup QB Matt Leinart. "We have a history of being able to get deals down with Tom Condon," said Graves. Graves, however, said the Cardinals still have two higher priorities: re-signing SS Adrian Wilson and LB Karlos Dansby. He is in negotiations with the agents for both players, and talks with Wilson's agent are progressing. "We're getting closer," Graves said. Graves said he hoped to come to resolution with all three players "one way or the other" by the end of the summer.
