Bills LB Kawika Mitchell revealed that he underwent a surgery to re-attach his quadriceps muscle to his kneecap after landing on injured reserve in October. It was initially reported as a knee injury, likely because the quadriceps muscle was torn completely away from his knee cap. "It's a very unusual injury," said Mitchell, "but structurally everything in my knee is fine." Mitchell, expected to move inside in the team's new 3-4 defense, is in danger of missing OTAs in May.
