Big Ben played with 2 broken ribs

Much like Fitz it looks like Big Ben also played while hurt. Ben is saying nothing showed up when Ben had an x ray right before the SuperBowl.

see, if they were broken before, how does it not show on the X-Rays?? Either they were broken or not...if they had an X-Ray then I'd say it would show it....

X-rays will not pick up all fractures...key here is fractures, not broken. Broken ribs are suicidal to play through as they can easily puncture lungs. MRI's are (for the NFL players) 3-D images capable of being manipulated for viewing at all angles and therefore much easier to find fractures. He likely had them checked again because they hurt like the devil after the game. I'm not a doctor but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express Last night.
