News just reported by Chip Brown of Orangebloods.com

The Big 12 Presidents had a conference call today at 5pm. The results of this meeting are as follows:

1. The Conference Schools agree to equal revenue sharing for Tier 1 and Tier 2 rights. The Longhorn Network is Tier 3, so that remains the exclusive purview of Texas and any other school is free to farm those rights out.

2. Dan Beebe has resigned as commissioner of the Big 12 and has been replaced on an interim basis by former Big 8 Commissioner Chuck Neidas (sp?).

3. The schools have signed an agreement regarding the money sharing for 6 years

4. The conference expansion committee has been reformed and will begin to identify and pursue at least a replacement for Texas A&M and possibly 2 additional schools.

5. Chip Brown reports his extremely high placed and well connected sources confirm TCU will be given "strong" consideration to join the Big 12.

Yeah until I found out the presidents of Missouri and Oklahoma were saying different things. I believe the OU version will prevail.
