Beware Da Bears Fantasy Owners

Talented Jay Cutler brings the Bear's offense into 2011 with 2010's 30th ranked offense. A dismal offensive line and 4 WR3s will line up against some of the best defenses in the NFL (NFC Central).

A commitment to improve the O-Line via the draft was forgotten about after the 1st round. Bears guru's spent their top pick on an OT (Gabe Carimi) that could be a legitimate starter in 2011 and then proceeded to bolster their 9th ranked defense using their 2nd, 3rd and 6th round picks for defensive stars. The only other offensive player taken in the 1st 6 rounds was a QB...go figure.

It appears that Mike Martz and the Bears are positioning themselves to depend on defense again this year which I guess is good considering the Bears offense seems committed to keeping the defense on the field.

Cutler appears to be doomed to quarterbacking from his ass again and the Bears receiving corps relegated to bye-week fill ins.

Matt Forte will continue to be fantasy relevant, though, as will their DST.

Maybe taking QB Enderle in the 5th wasn't such a bad idea after all. It gives them great depth at a high health risk position.

Martz turned Az Hakim into a star in St. Louis...I don't think he cares much about having super star WRs.

Will Earl Bennett break through this year?
