Bengals WR Jordan Shipley is headed for IR along with Panthers LB Thomas Davis

The Cincinnati Bengals have placed WR Jordan Shipley (knee) on Injured Reserve, ending his 2011 season.

Ouch, the new wave of Bengals Wrs were looking pretty good.

Carolina Panthers LB Thomas Davis (knee) has a torn anterior cruciate ligament from an injury he suffered in Week 2. James Anderson may move back to the SLB spot (where he excelled last season) and free agent acquisition Omar Gaither may occupy the WLB spot. Almost an instant replay of last year.

damn....that sucks, I love the way Shipley plays. This makes Caldwell a deeper look in ppr leagues. If no one has signed Quan Cosby yet they could look at bringing him back.
