Bengals Running Game to be RBBC?

Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden plans to employ a running-back-by-committee. RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis will be teamed with RBs Bernard Scott and Brian Leonard.

 no more than they have in the past.

Okay, I don't get it. So I need someone to enlighten me. Everyone seems to think the Law firm is a step down from Benson. Why?

He does not fumble, he DOES score when near the goal line, and he has as much speed and ability as Benson has ever had. I see no reason he can't be a Benson clone, only better for more scores and no fumbles. I do see them using Scott some more for passing, and they have always loved Leonard for 3rd downs. But I don't see any slip in use for Law firm vs. what Benson has had in cincy.

Just not sure Law Firm is as strong of a runner as Benson was or that he can hold up to the beatings that Benson took. I do LOVE his ball security, but I just don't get excited by him. I hope I am dead wrong.

He's done nothing to show me that he could carry the load that Cedric did for the Bengals and I'm not expecting him to hold up to that number of carries. Of course it doesn't sound like they are planning on using him in that way so we'll see. I'll be surprise if you fans won't be disappointed at year's end.

:headscratch: Benson ran hard?!?!?! Maybe his first year in Cincy. He wasn't a great tackle breaker. I will add, the amount of goal line scores for Law firm tells me he can be pretty damn tough.

But only time will tell.
