Bengals OG Jason Shirley Tears Achilles Tendon.

Geoff Hobson, of Bengals.com, reports Cincinnati Bengals OG Jason Shirley (Achilles') is feared to be lost for the 2010 season after undergoing surgery Monday, April 5, to repair a torn Achilles' tendon. Shirley apparently was injured playing in a charity basketball game with a team of Bengals over the weekend. He is looking at the very least at a six-month rehab.

Bad luck for shirley. Bengals were using Shirley as an experiment. He was drafted as a DT, but they liked his mobility and size and moved him to the OL. He was actually doing a fair job of learning it. Hurts depth for the Bengals...but my guess is with the extra picks they have they will draft depth.
