Bench Greene???

Am I crazy to be thinking about benching Shonn Greene vs NYG tomorrow for........... Kevin Smith?

Smith emerged from 70+ snaps last week no worse for the wear, he put in a full week of practice and is another week removed from his ankle injury. Should be a shootout in Detroit against the Chargers and barring an injury, Smith will get his hands on the ball alot. (.5 ppr and Smith will catch his fair share of passes IMO)

Greene is just so boring... Seems like you can pencil the guy in for 18 carries, 80 yards, 1 catch, 10 yds every stinkin' week. The guy seems to play about 60% of the snaps over the course of a game and if the Jets get down early... meh.

My matchup tomorrow is fairly even... Anyone else out there a believer in Kevin Smith??? Or am I better off taking my 10 pts from Greene and moving on?

Tough Call here as most will say stick with Green. Like you say Greene is like 10 points in the bank and that sort of weekly production is great to get you there. Kevin Smith is a bit more boom or bust but the range is like 5-15 points. If you can survive without 5 less points take the gamble.

If I expected to win I'd go Greene. If I felt I needed a miracle I'd roll the dice with Smith.
