Just one of those little nuggets of info that might make those early draft picks a little easier.
Incumbent LG Josh Beekman has "far and away" outperformed free agent signee Frank Omiyale in training camp. Omiyale was signed away from the Panthers for $14M in February as an upgrade. Beekman has a "stranglehold" on the starting job. It's good news for Matt Forte, as Beekman was the Bears' strongest run-blocking lineman last season. I have never heard of too much talent on the OLine being a bad thing.
