They look awful. Matt Leinart again looked horrible. And they took him out early and put Derrick Anderson in with the first team offense. Is this just because Larry Fitzgerald is out, or is this how the entire season is going to look?
 
They looked dreary in all regards.

Beyond Leinart, their highly touted running game was a bust too.

Maybe the Titans defense is just better than we expected.
 
It's hard to run the ball if a defense knows you can't beat them through the air. Fitz should continue to fall a bit on draft boards.
 
I think they need a few players to hop on a plane and get Kurt Warner back. I mean if worked for the Vikes with Favre........
 
i thought anderson looked a whole lot better than leinart . . . the running game opened up a little while he was in too . . . the tenn def looked really good, but then again, it was against arizona who appears to be struggling to gain a new identity.
 
I called this in the matchup thread with Fitz. You simply can't be a top flight wr or offense if you end up one dimensional due to poor Qb play. I don't care if you are all world, if the Qb sucks, the defense can take you away. It is one reason I have not drafted any Cardinal this year, no Fitz, Breaston, Wells or Hightower.
 
Only caught the highlights (or lowlights since this is Arizona) , even the biased commentators (and i say that because of there man love for Lefty over Dixon) said Leinart looked really bad and when Anderson came in things got a little better for the O. So now question comes up, if Leinart doesnt start this year or just ends up a bust and Derek starts, Does Arizona keep Leinart? Is it financially feasible to dump this un productive player and try to get back money invested in such a flop?
