cbssports.com,

The Houston Chronicle reports that Texans RB Arian Foster underwent minor arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Wednesday to repair cartilage damage suffered in the Pro Bowl. The report says that if this were the regular season, Foster would be ready to play in three weeks.

The surgery doesn't concern me but Tate being back next season gives me some concerns. Still I'll be hanging on to Foster in my keeper league and hope to ride him to the playoffs again next season.

Tate has finished his rehap from the serious ankle injury last season. He has been medically cleared.

cbssports.com,

Tate was a trendy sleeper in drafts until he got hurt, and then owners rushed to draft Foster. With Foster exploding, there's a real chance that Tate's reps will be limited in 2011 since the Texans' offense did exceptional with Pro Bowler Foster in the backfield. We see Tate as a must-draft by those owners who spend a first-round pick on Foster. Expect him to wind up as a middle- to late-round pick in drafts, far from the early- to middle-round projection we had for him last season. Bottom line: If anything happens to Foster, Tate will be in line to recoup many of the stats he didn't get to post in 2010.

Arian Foster posted on Twitter Wednesday that the cartilage damage in his right knee that he needed arthroscopic surgery on was suffered during his first preseason game, not the Pro Bowl. That means he played through the injury all season long, which should ease a lot of concerns.
