Are The Saints this years Chargers?

In recent years The San Diego Chargers have had a great team and yet every years they got off to a horrible start. We would then watch The Rivers powered Chargers play week in and week out with the pressure of every week being like a playoff game and we got to see some great football out of the SuperChargers.

This year, lo and behold, The Chargers have gotten off to great start leading their division.

The Saints on the other hand have started out this year in Chargers fashion. Losing early in the season and having to beat those same Chargers in a huge comeback victory just to stay alive. Now we will get to see one of the best QBs in Drew Brees try and lead his team every week fending off disaster on a weekly basis. Can Brees and company do it Charger-Style for the rest of the year? I dunno, but I am sure we will see some great football as a result.

The only pity I feel is for the Saints fans.

But you will see that this episode will not only ruin the Saints 2012 campaign but will render them insignificant for years to come.

Back to the cellar for the "who dats" for the next decade.

This was my pre-season prediction for the Saints.

Where are the homers that argued that the Bounty scandal would serve as a rallying point and the Saints would feed off of it?

Only 5 games in and the Saints fans have already conceded. Sounds more like a page from the Cowboys fan book of etiquette.

Being right isn't all it's cracked up to be.

At least if I was wrong, there would be some replies.

I wouldn't count them out just yet, but, that D is certainly in shambles - when is Payton back exactly??
