Anyone know if Pac-12 scoreboards go to 100????

Chip Kelly has enough firepower to hit the high 70s to begin with. Now the conference has added:

Rich Rodriguez
Mike Leach
June Jones

Talk about some high flying, high scoring offenses.

To each his own I reckon. Me, I like a defense that actually plays in the game. Sometimes I'm left wondering how some of those guys earn their letter jackets when I see the scores.

Stuff like that is why I feel pretty good about our chances to return to prominence with a decent QB. Play top notch offense AND top 35 defense and you can easily win the Big 12 and Pac 12.

I honestly cant remember (except USC) when a Pac-12 defense has been truly dominant in the last 10 years.

2004 Cal was o.k. But you are right, it has been awhile since the Pac-10 has had a bunch of dominant defenses. The last time was the early 90's with Washington's three Rose Bowl squads, Arizona's Desert Swarm, and WSU's Palouse Posse ('94).
