Anyone Biting On Osweiler?

I'm a little giddy about him but not seeing/hearing anything good/bad about the guy.

Is he really THAT unknown?

Situationally, I see similarities to Rogers. He's a high draft pick in a good organization that spent 3 years behind a Hall of Fame QB.

I KNEW of Rogers while Favre was still playing. There was "talk" about getting Rogers in and Favre out. With Denver, there has been talk about getting Manning OUT, but not necessarily about getting Osweiler IN.

In cities with bad QBs, when a rookie is drafted they immediately SCREAM for the kid to play. The only difference is that the rookie in this situation has been on the team 3 years, studied under the best QB the NFL has ever known, and has had time to acclimate himself to the NFL.

Something just doesn't add up. If he is not the Heir Apparent to Manning, surely Denver would have figured it over the last 3 years and picked up a journeyman back up.

If he IS the heir apparent, then why is no one excited to see him take over?

Not claiming he should be a hot add off the wire in seasonal leagues, but you guys in Dynasty leagues must be thinking the same thing I am.

Surely there is something TO this guy.

Well if he turns out to be anything, it would remind me of when Romo came in and looked good when he took over for Bledsoe in the second half of that Giants game. Of course at the time fans were begging to put Romo in.

Well they have to decide this year, his rookie deal is up this year. I still think Peyton is done after this year, so either re-sign him or cut bait and go for someone else.
