Antonio Gates - Listed as Questionable

Gates is still listed as questionable with an ankle injury heading into Saturday's game. He did not participate in practice on Friday.

If it’s the postseason, the San Diego Chargers must be dealing with injuries. This time, it’s running back LaDainian Tomlinson and tight end Antonio Gates who are hurt.
Tomlinson has a strained groin and abdominal muscles after fighting through a toe injury for most of the season. Gates has a high ankle sprain. Neither participated in practice Friday and are listed as questionable for Saturday night’s AFC Wild Card Game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Looks like Gates is heading towards the dreaded GTD....if you were planning to use Gates this week in fantasy playoffs, you may want to look in another direction.

gates had a pretty monster game for being questionable. he is the anti-tomlinson, a guy that plays through mostly anything and continues to make plays. indy killed itself over and over again last night giving up that short pass over the middle, usually to gates. that cost them the game in regulation.

Especially on the last drive in regulation where SD kicked the game tying FG. Two good passes up the middle to Gates both for first downs was huge.
