Anthony Gonzalez placed on season-ending IR

(RotoWire) The Colts placed Gonzalez (knee) on season-ending injured reserve Saturday, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports. Analysis: Gonzalez's once-promising career has now been derailed by injuries. Over the last two seasons combined, he has just five receptions in a total of three games. The Colts will continue to rely on Austin Collie and Blair White as their reserve receivers.

My $1 bet with Miller and one other member?????? is safe. Gonzalez hasn't accomplished much, and based on all the hype he has received over the years, you'd have figured he'd done something. Collie was better than Gonzalez right out of the chute.

IR seems like the place to be this season. Everyone is falling all over themselves to get in there. :sad:

Gonzalez is going to have to actually take time off and properly rehab all his ailments. Still a solid WR if he can get over the injury bug.

That said, Austin Collie is clearly a superior talent at WR.

Looks like injuries will prevent us from ever knowing how good he could have been. I don't see him making the team next year due to the injuries.
