Jahvid Best once had a promising future in the NFL but brain injuries did him in. He's searched high and low for a doctor that would clear him to play once again but it isn't in the cards. It appears that he has finally accepted his fate and he has enrolled back in school at Cal and will join the football coaching staff as a student assistant. There's some talk amongst friends that he'll resume his track career. I wish the young man lots of luck.
