It's never to early to speculate here at the Sports Outlaw Forum is it Outlaws? Here's a list of some of the top candidates that are being mentioned and we can throw in others on this thread as well. Do you have a favorite that missed my list?

QB's

Matt Barkley, QB, USC Senior 2011: 3,578 Yards , 39 TD, 7 INT

Landry Jones, QB, Oklahoma Senior 2011: 4,463 Yards , 29 TD, 15 INT

Casey Pachall, QB, TCU Junior 2011: 2,921 Yards , 25 TD, 7 INT

Keith Price, QB, Washington Junior 2011: 3,063 Yards , 33 TD, 11 INT

Aaron Murray QB, Georgia 2011: 3,149 Yards , 35 TD, 14 INT

Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas Senior 2011: 3,638 Yards , 24 TDs, 6 INTs

RB's

Montee Ball, RB, Wisconsin Senior 2011: 1,923 Yards , 6.2 YPC , 33 Rush TD , 39 Total TD

De’Anthony Thomas, RB, Oregon Sophomore 2011: 2,235 AP Yards , 18 Total TDs , 27.3 KR Avg

WR

Sammy Watkins, WR/KR, Clemson Sophomore 2011: 1,219 Rec. Yards , 176 AP Yds per game , 13 Total TDs

From the above list it seems that Barley and Ball are the early favorites.

Wildcard: The Honey Badger from LSU is the longest of longshots. He had a magical season last year in that he was in the right place at the right time many, many times and the chances of the ball falling that way two seasons in a row are poor at best. WR Sheppard will make some noise for the Tigers now that he'll have a legitimate QB throwing the ball. LSU uses too many RB's for any single one of them to build the stats needed for consideration.
