2016 NFL draft pick #8 -Cleveland - trade Miami then Philly

Okay we have :
#1 - Rams - QB
#2 - Browns - Qb
#3 - Chargers - Cb - Ramsey
#4 - Dallas - DE - Bosa
#5 - Jacksonville - LB - Jack
#6 - Cleveland - OT - Tunsil
#7 - San Fran - DE - Buckner - per Efactor

So, we come to pick #8. Philly has three major needs - actually four but they really worked on O-line issues with FA.

Key needs are: Cb , Rb, QB, OL and LB

Top Cb is gone, Top OT is gone, but 1A is there. Both the top DEs are gone, which really could have been a nice fit.

No to me this comes down to Pederson working the GM to get Off. help.

Assuming this falls as is above, and the 2 Qbs are gone and Ramsey is gone....

I see one of three choices.
Elliot Rb Ohio State, Ronnie Stanley OT ND or Rankins DT Louisville. Or they could reach and go Cb and look at Hargreaves but I woudl hope they would trade back to do that.

No they came up to 8 for a reason. That reason was to either snag a QB or Rb in Elliot, or to get one of the top OL or DE if they fell. If Buckner lasts this long its a no brainer.

But my gut says Elliot here, to be the Jamaal Charles Pederson likes.

I think they go Elliott here. Runner, pass catcher and great blocker. Hard to pass on a virtual "sure thing".

Okay have to do a redo here. with the deal just posted where Eagles move up, we now have Cleveland back on the clock.
I also wonder if we missed on SD, I see alot of folks who have them taking Tunsil.

So I will run two options here:
leaving the above as is, then I see Cle going O-line here with the OT from ND. OR DT They took a HUGE hit at OL though, so I see Stanley at OT

However, what happens if SD goes a different direction?
Rams at 1 still Qb
Philly now at 2 still a QB
Chargers at 3 now go Tunsil at OT
Dallas stays Bosa at 4
Jacksonville still goes def. Could be Buckner but I think its Jack Lb
Ravens now at 6 get the DE they need as theirs are aging with Buckner De
What does San Fran do? Talk about screwed. They need Qb, and can't get him. DEs are gone. Lb is gone. Best OT is gone. Do they get the best Cb in Ramsey then? or go DT from Louisville?

Either way I still see Cle taking OT with Stanley.

I will add, Miami is now doing the happy dance if Elliot gets past NY Giants

Christ please let Ramsey fall to SF. Getting the best player in the draft is hardly getting "screwed". SF is in great shape. Gonna get one of Tunsil, Ramsey, Jack, Bosa or Buckner.
