Poor guy. Peterson's knee and Chris Johnson's lack of fire has really screwed over guys like MJD and Forte. GMs are looking for a little more ROI.

I loved Bates but that is a lifetime ago, and the NFL has changed way too much since then. GMs and the players themselves weren't all about the money and now they very much are. Donald's in the way of a more useful player in today's NFL.

Turner uses his best assets, be it Rivers or Emmit Smith. He doesn't force a system like a Mike Martz does. I think I read Matthews hasn't had an injury free season dating back to high school. I just hope the inevitable isn't serious, because he's going to really help a couple of my teams.

Touching, but.. While its nice he can stay there and likely mentor the young, the fourth/fifth receiver on the team generally has to play special teams, yes? I can't see Driver doing it so you're going to risk a younger fresher guy like Cobb or Jones?

Oakland got him. And I agree with Miller, in that for the cost Knowshon's worth holding just in case situations change.

In redrafts he'll likely play up to his usual 3rd round cost - but since he'll be there a little later, he becomes a value pick. You can't count on him to make it through the season, so enjoy the points while they're there.

He's still a late first/early second type of guy. I'd lean to taking receiver quarterback combos early on since RBs have been taking a beating the last few years. And even when they don't they might not justify a high pick, right Chris Johnson?

Either through injury or performance, recent big contracts given to running backs haven't yielded much return on investment. The Bears have Bush and could draft a quality back in the 3rd round for peanuts. Forte needs to take his head out of the sand, realize it's a bad era to be a running back...
