Per @katzbrossports, the 49ers are trading Jordan Mason to the Vikings. He gets a 2-year deal with over $7M fully guaranteed at signing with a maximum value of $12M.

Very good move for the Vikings. Mason is a really good runner and while not a great route runner, he can catch the ball. Works hard in the offseason on that part of his game.
Don't be shocked if it's a 50/50 backfield split in Minnesota this year and if Jones gets hurt, to the moon.

Sorry to see him go but inevitable once they put the 2nd round tender on him. Figured 5 million wasn't going to happen. My guess is that SF picks a RB as always at some point in the draft, but Guerrendo looks like the clear #2 for this season.

As a 49er fan and CMC shareholder in a dynasty league, this kind of alarms me. Seems like a lot of uncertainty and "hope" woven into an attempt to put a positive spin on it. The NFL draft will be telling. If they draft a RB by day 2, I will be concerned.
