Kirk Cousins talk - some reports out team may move on from him, his contract is one problem, as the price is high and he has a full no trade clause. If team releases him, and eats the cap hit, he could then sign for a league minimum deal as he will be getting a ton of money from Atlanta anyway. I assume alot of this is dependant on how Penix Jr does rest of season.

Looking at the financials and the team’s salary cap situation the move that makes the most sense is the post June 1 release next year. It keeps his 2025 cap number as is, wont make the team’s 2025 cap situation even worse, and prevents another $10 million from being guaranteed. His release would be a black eye on the Falcons organization with Atlanta having to pay Cousins $90 million for 1 partial season of work where they wound up benching him. This would go down as the worst free agent signing of all time, though barring a turnaround it is going to hold that distinction regardless of the contract outcome next year.

Colts have stated CB Ambry Thomas has failed the physical

Jets - okay I have to do this, but I simply can't believe it - there are reports out there that Owner Woody Johnson squashed a trade for Jerry Jeudy because his Madden rating was too low - and this has been substantiated as far as I know. So NOW reports out that Woody, his wife and kids regularly go into the locker room and criticize players. I think Woody is making a run for Jerry's title for bad Owner/GM

Pittsburgh, Carolina and Baltimore all didn’t want him, even after trading for him in one case. Sometimes I wonder if one of us here couldn’t run a team better…
