NFL News, Rumors for Start of Free Agency

Rashee Rice was at a bar with family members before wrecking his car in a accident.

His clothing is the same as someone leaving the scene of the accident, confirming he fled the scene on foot..

Tmz got 📸 from someone at the bar he was at before crash
He also rented the Lamborghini and the rental agreement said he would be the only driver. Will be interesting if they try to say he wasn’t driving.

KC - signed Carson Wentz to a one year deal
ARI - the arbitrator found in favor of former employee Terry McDonough to the tune of $3 million dollars for its inflammatory statement on his leaving the team.
ATL - released WR Jared Bernhardt from their retired/reserved list
KC - polling has the election to continue public funding for the Chiefs and Royals stadium to be very, very close - Chiefs and Royals have threatened to leave if the money doesn't get approved
FA CB Cameron Sutton has turned himself in and was formally charged with a misdemeanor charge of Domestic battery.
LVR - re-sign OL Jordan Meredith
PHI - signs S Reed Blankenship to a one year extension

MIN - place OC Wes Phillips on suspension without pay for 3 weeks due to plea deal in DWI case
KC- bringing in J.K. Dobbins for a visit

Amazing how people are still defending Rashee Rice even after all the new video.

People make fun of TMZ but these guys get out and buy the video. Remember when NFL was trying to cover up the Ray Rice incident and TMZ got the video. Pretty funny they get what CBS and the big sites don’t.

The Chiefs agreed to re-sign running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire to a one-year deal

Rashee Rice has admitted to being involved in the car crash that injured multiple people on saturday, per @TMZ_Sports

“Rice owned the Corvette that was involved in the crash and leased the Lambo from a company called The Classic Lifestyle. Rice was in the Lambo at the time of the crash and, according to the leasing agreement, he's the only person who was permitted to drive the car”

This dudes attorney has to be losing his mind with him admitting anything.

Pretty sure he had no choice as videos submitted pretty much show he was the dude that would have been driving the Lambo. Better to fess up and hope the judge or DA is lenient.

KC - The vote to extend the sales tax levy to pay for stadium upgrades failed miserably. Not sure where that will leave the team.
LAC - re-sign K Cameron Dicker
IND - re-sign S Julian Blackmon to a one year deal
ATL - release DL Ikenna Enechukwa
MIA - re-sign OL Kendall Lamm
SEA - have agreed to terms with WR Laviska Shenault
WAS - signed LB Mykal Walker

Derrick Henry says signing with the Cowboys would "have been the perfect situation".."but they never reached out"

Yeah. Video showing him as the second person exiting from front seat of the passenger side.

The witness who recorded them walking away was funny. “They’re friggin leaving their Lamborghini and Corvette behind”.

Schefter is reporting Bills are finalizing a trade to send Stefon Diggs to Houston for draft pick compensation.
Well, Houston is all in this year, and I think Buffalo is packing it in.

Draft pick compensation rumored is: The Bills receive a 2025 second-round pick (via the Minnesota Vikings) in exchange for Diggs and a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick.'

All per ESPN

Assume they will draft a WR in this target rich WR draft. Bump Kincaid and Shakir for FF.

As an aside, Shakir is exactly the same height, weight as Diggs with the same draft capital. Also had a nice finish to the season basically replacing Davis as the #2 WR.

I wonder if Bills make a move to get a disgruntled WR like Aiyuk or Devonte Adams

Aiyuk isn’t “disgruntled “. Just wants to get paid. I don’t blame him. Deebo did the same thing and they eventually worked it out.

Bill draft too low for a straight trade of Aiyuk for #1 pick but maybe a 1st and a 2nd or a first and Shakir might get it done. Adams is more likely. Raiders aren’t winning anything in the next couple years.

My guess is the 49ers will exercise the fifth-year option on his contract. That would make him $14.1 million in 2024 and allow him to be an unrestricted free agent in 2025.
